Yes, Goddard did place 2nd at Carrol that year but, if you recall, they did that with several key members out of the line-up, most notably, Jerod Lien who went on to win a state championship in an OT match with Great Bend.

Too bad they were not able to meet in a dual match huh? That woulda been exciting!!
