Mike you said it...what a great weekend!

Some of you missed out on “a weekend in the meat grinder” (a Bailey quote).

Our “young men” were soo impressive. And I got to know some really great people: all of our wrestlers, the Downs, Mr. Detmer, the Furches, and our hosts at Skiatook. Thanks soo much to you all.

We collected some good stories for the next camp fire ... and had an incredible experience! Garret will long remember his Bailey matches (and others like Skates too) ... he pushed himself passed his natural limits and learned a lot about his real character, his regional competition, and his own readiness.

Yep, Garret wants a Kansas Wizzers of Oz team singlet…great idea, design, and camaraderie… just tell me when and where to send the money!

I can only IMAGINE how the boys felt. Shoot! I am still stumblin and cryin (without wrestling a single match). Garret was a zombie all day Sunday. Then all of a sudden he came alive just before we got home, and just as quickly, he decided to go to Eric’s 6:30 practice.

Okay, I’m guilty too. I visited the hospitality room - often. Our hosts had no idea just how hospitable they were to our fine young men and their stomachs...LOL

Enlightening: It really is sad that Kansas leadership can't support our kids and coaches the way other states do, "all there as teams and coached by their high school coaches".

And we echo Rob’s sentiments: For those that went with Team Kansas, if you’re in my neighborhood and you need a place to crash - just holler.

We look forward to seeing you down the road. Good luck to everyone!
