after a ref makes a call can they change their mind. like if a ref disqualifies 2 wrestler can he change his mind and not disqualify one of them? I was jsut wondering becuase this happend once at a wrestling tournament.

I think they can but I don't know exactly how the book states it. I think that sometimes a referee gets caught up in the moment and doesn't take the time to think it out which is okay but when it happens it sure pisses off a lot of a lot of people.

 How does the rule book read about refs changing their minds after giving wrestler 2 back points only to have Warkintine reverse mat officals decison *130 lb. cons. qt finalls at B.C. Saturday pm. it is on tape that Nett had 3 THREEseconds left in the match I think someone blew it big time

It wouldnt have mattered if that guy from fs would have got dq'd, the guy from abilene beat him fair and square, and there for the guy from fs was beat out of the tourney.

But what is the rule on "head ref" vs "2nd ref"? I understand the 2nd ref is only to give his opinion if asked. Is this correct? If not, and there were different opinions, who would be right?
