Please realize that as I post this, I am not judging a referee, a coach, or a wrestler...I am just relating what the situation was. Lacer had a big early lead. A fall had been called at the end of the first period, which the referee subsequently waved off due to time after Emporia protested. Dikin had been making a comeback and in the third period, Lacer had a 10-7 lead when he took injury time. Lacer never said anyting, Dikin had not said anything. About a minute into injury time, Coach Buckbee called the referee over to say Dikin had a mark on his arm. The referee called flagarant misconduct and ended the match with Lacer leading and match time waning. The referee told us that he did not see a bite, but that he was ending it because Emporia's trainer felt the mark was a bite. Lacer was disqualified, from the rest of the tournament.
