This is to TRAVIUS at wycowrestling: My husband and I also feel that the sport has much more to offer than just a few wrestling tournaments and a few medals. We sponsored a couple of boys this year and hope to sponsor more kids. These boys were 12 year olds and was never exposed to wrestling until middle school when they were able to wrestle and play basketball. Also I am glad to say they have chosen wrestling over basketball and are doing extremely well for their first year. I also wanted to say that my son, who is 14 and under 100lbs, wrestled one of your kids Saturday at Burlington. It was a great match and your guy won by one point. After the match, the boys got together and talked about their match and made friends. I think you and I both know that this is the benefit of wrestling.
