doing something like this definately does damage to your schools reputation and image not to mention to the community you repesent...individuals resposible are not only stupid but selfish, ruining it for the rest of the team...
To the best of my knowledge, there is no penalty designated by KSHSAA when dealing with substance abuse. Most schools will take a relatively strong stand against similar situations, and once a school establishes guilt, penalties are usually somewhat severe. The official word at the Hays tournament was that Goodland simply had too many points to attend the Hays tournament, and that is possible. I am sure that Coach Bahe runs a clean program, and if there were any problems on a trip, I am positive that it will be handled in house.
