does anybody know how much it is going to cost to get into wichita for friday and saturday.

The Coliseum website says $9.50 for adults and $5.50 for students.

Friday (all day ticket) k-12=$5 Adutlt=$9
Friday (evening only) k-12=$4 Adutlt=$5
Saturday (all day ticket) k-12=$5 Adutlt=$9
Saturday (evening only) k-12=$4 Adutlt=$5

Also, I believe the letter sent to all coaches stated that tickets would be .50 higher to pay for parking.

Richard, you are 100% correct--admission prices at ALL post-season contests are set by the KSHSAA. The additional parking fee at Wichita is one that the KSHSAA agreed to in order to be able to rent the Kansas Coliseum. Now, why they want to have the tournament there is beyond me. The admission prices are bad enough but the overpriced and poor quality/variety concessions are in my opinion a bigger rip-off than the admission prices.

The guys in 321A have it GREAT!!! That coliseum is an ugly bearpit, dirty, worn out old thing. The coliseum folks started charging extra for parking at events last year, but didn't do it to the KSHAA until this year. They get 70% of t-shirt sales, their concession prices are outrageous, and their security staff is kinda scruffy. Henry Gross is a much more pleasant experience for the fan as well as the wrestler. If you qualify for the state tourney, you prabably deserve something a little more special than the Coliseum.
