Excellent post Les! I attend Colby Community College from '91 through '93 and can absolutely say that juco wrestling is extremely tough. College wrestling in general. High School state champs are facing fellow state champions darn near every time they step on the mat. Ask 4 time Kansas State champion Travis Stites of Fort Hays how tough college wrestling is.

I attended Colby in the days of some tremendous wrestlers...Alfonso Cruz, Colody Tate and Ramico Blackman. I remember being marveled because Blackman, a state high school RUNNER UP in Florida teched 3 time Kansas state champ Randy Roark of Labette. College is a whole different ball game. These guys are rough.
