How many of you find yourself quoting Larry the Cable Guy throughout the day?

I'm guessing this is an offshoot of the NASCAR reference I made earlier.

I tend to believe he was funny when he was on radio.

Now that I hang around the Swayz, (Isn't that a scarry thought?) I find myself quoting Larry The Cable Guy more and more. I have even found myself quoting him in church and that is not such a good thing.

I have often wondered, who came first, Larry "Get R Dun" the Cable Guy, Jeff, "You Might Be a Redneck if..." Foxworthy, or Aaron "I Can Slam Akin with the best of em" Sweazy?

I think people that are constantly quoting lines from movies and the like have small brains. Furthermore, "Larry the Cable Guy" is ridiculously un-funny. The one time I listened to any of his his stand-up (this experiment lasted about ten minutes) I was appalled at how bad it was. It was as if I was sitting in an un-funny vacuum, and absolutely no funny could get in.

"Don't take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive" you should really look into this, if you find no humor at all in LTCG.

Mr. Hinderliter not only are you a Gold level coach, but also a member of the elite 500 post total club, way to go!

Alex

p.s. I am an "Honors Student" as classified by my high school. I am enrolled in AP Classes so i'm not exactly the small brained

I usually quote Ron White, Robbin Williams, and Rodney Carrington the most.

Them, and a ton of movies.

I also love quoting South Park.

"WHAT?! Is this America? Oh, I'm sorry! I, I though I was in America!"

From "Larry the Cable Guy"'s website:

-In the words of John F. Kennedy, "The only thing we have to fear is... public toilet seats!"
-Is this what we've become in this country, The United States of short bus retards!
-Here we go again, Like Diarrhea after my sisters Lazagnia come the Athiests and the queers trying to mess with the boy scouts...Don't believe in God, start the anti-god scouts...Or how bout this one. Welcome to the queer scouts. Today we'll go see river dance and then we'll all dress up like Liza Minneli and shoot off bottle rockets.
-Republicans had a muslim give the opening' prayer at there convention! What the hells going' on around here! Is Muslim now the official religion of the United States! I aint been this sick at my stomach since I drank outta my grandmas dip cup at my grandpas funeral! First these peckerheads fly planes into towers and now theys prayin' before conventions! People say not all of em did that and I say who gives a rats fat ***! Thats a fricken slap in the face to New York city by having' some muslim sum-bitch give the invocation at the republican convention!

These are just a few of the gems I was able to find on his own site. You'll find them all in the "Commentary" section. For the life of me I can't seem to find the word "sum-bitch" anywhere in the dictionary. I've looked in two and I'm beginning to get frustrated.

This is not funny and it is racist. I enjoy having a good time and laughing, however I don't think that "Larry the Cable Guy" has any talent and his "social commentary" is written with the mind of an incredibly stupid child of ten.
