Egg predicts the following:

*attendance at Salina will be greater than that at Wichita.

*if money is lost due to the split, it will be at Wichita, not Salina.

*after two years in Salina the vast majority of 4A schools and fans will fight "tooth and nail" to maintain a seperate 4A tournament.

Based on my experiences with both set-ups, the single site is better for the competitors, the coaches, the cheerleaders, etc. and believe it or not, spectators find it to be much more fan-friendly as well. We in Norton have always appreciated the 3-2-1A tournament in Hays. However, after having attended the Wichita Tournament in 2002, we returned to Hays in 2003 with a GREATLY renewed appreciation for "our" tournament.
