This will be the last time I will get onto the KS Wrestling Talk forum. I am truly sadden by the number of negative post about some wrestlers or teams who have done a super job of respresenting the great state of Kansas. This is a rumor mill not a talk forum.
Aaron Sweazy and Nigel, please stop. You are being disruptive to what the true reason for this forum is. You will not agree on anything so wrestlers and teams will continue to have their names used is such horrible manners. Your are both grown men but continue to act in an other way. To me you are being very unsportsmanlike.
How embarrasing for KS wrestling if someone from another state happens to get onto our forum.
Aaron, please stop the Abilene bashing, I could bring up an incident that happen last week relating to Chapman, but I am an adult and realize that kids are kids and will make some poor judgments.
Be men and stop all this gossip and horrible name bashing.

Bring it up....I want to know what Chapman did, because I want to have it addressed in the town of Chapman and to the coaching staff. I know Chapman isn't all there in sportsmanship and the whole boys will be boys thing...but I'd like to see it cleaned up...People call me unsportsmanlike for reporting what I see and they think I'm targeting Abilene...well, I'm not. I have respect for everyone, but when the moment comes that somebody breaks a barrier, then I want to take a deeper look. I plan on mentioning the decline of sportsmanship across the board in high school athletics in a future article. I was stating what I saw, and was attacked about my record, (which we all know I wasn't good at wrestling) and tried to make a diss on me. I'm not doing the name bashing...the name bashing is doing itself by actions by individuals from all areas within the state line. Many hot heads get on here and argue and fuss, a lot of poor choices were made at state, Abilene by far wasn't the worse and I'm sure I missed some antics from day one. I think wherever the jerks were who rudely interrupted the National Anthem by yelling BRAVES, might take the cake on bad decisions.

Bye daboom, you won't be missed I promise you. I've started no rumors and I certainly haven't called anyone any names so I guess I have no idea what your talking about. But what I do know is this is a cry for attention and im fairly sure that post above won't be your last.

I'm not from KS, and my opinion of Kansans hasn't changed from looking at this chat forum. I've always though Kansans were a bit "off", and still do. The only thing you should be embarrassed about is the antiquated message board set up on here. Whoever administers this website needs to do some serious updates.

I woulnd't take offense to the Kansas bashing unless of course it came from someone from Missouri, that would be the pot calling the kettle black.

Lighten up...everyone. Life is mostly funny, and we should all just have fun with it. Talk forums should be "witty banter." It would get pretty boring if all we did was talk about wrestling.

Example:
"Topic: The Pro's and Con's of hitting high crotches."
-or-
"Topic: Dwizzam, those cheerleaders looked superfly at State this weekend!"

Come on, which would be the more interesting topic?

And on the subject of rumors: posting them on the forum would make it easier to find out whether or not they are valid. Someone who is "in the know" would be able to shed some light on the subject.

Also: you won't change anyone by leaving-no one likes you that much.

Also, I work for the State of Missouri and I don't think Lee Summit is exactly mentally superior.

That was changed last year due to complaints received that certain of the posts were of a sexual nature, and did not belong on a public school site.

USAWA Kansas underwrites the talk forums.

Yeah I remember that Richard. They almost discontinued the forums permantly.

Well I;m pretty sure http://www.holton.k12.ks.us/tech/kwca/html means this web site is in fact a product of the Holton wildcat district iregardless of USAWKS support

I never said I didn't like the message board, just simply stated it was old and needed to be updated. Don't get so defensive, the comment wasn't directed at you. :p

I do love this board, but the antiquated comment has some validity...you shouldn't have to type in your UBB Codes, there should be shortcut buttons and such for those like on the national board...but if that's the only bad thing so be it...I do like the quick reply feature.
