whats wrong with emo?? wrestling is an emotional experience. when you get "pumped up" you are lifting your emotions so that they can effect your mind and body. Some people get there by lisoning to hatefull music like mudvayne and slipknot. others by emo like thursday or afi, some people lison to trance music or slow melodic music like "in the air of night" by phil collins. others like jhris use the timeless classics AC/DC. and for some people the best warmup music is compleat silence. I personaly use a mix of all of them. i start out with some classics like AC/CD, mettalica, and foriner in the morning of the tournoment to get the mood right. then about an hour before my match i sit in silence and think about my opponent and what i gotta do to beat him. then i start lisoning to slow melodic music or trance. i do this because this long before your match you dont want to get your addrenaline going, you just want to get some of the laptic acid out of your muscles and get rid of that tired sloppy feeling. then about the time the 145 kids start wresling i crank up the mudvayne work up my addrinaline. by the time i hit the matt i feel pretty good.
this probly wont work for everybody. just try different things untill you find something that works for you. just make sure you feel good when you hit the matt, no matter how you get there!
