Jhirs: I don't ever recall such a time. Being old and inflexible I think I would remember getting split. It could have been that I was showing you the move, and let you do it on me. Come to think of it, Jhris, I really don't remember wrestling you too much at all, I was reserved for working out with varsity wrestlers who went to State while I was around or beating on hapless JV wrestlers such as Kaig Crennedy, the all time best receipient of the "club". Sadly the "club" has been retired. Being a responsible adult now, I am to worried about getting sued for giving some kid a concusion for repeated shots to the back of the head.

Kaig Crennedy may have been a hapless JV wrestler, but he will always be remembered for three things.
1) His incredible stench. Good gravy, that was awful. 2) His incredibly scratchy hair. Seriously, it was like tying up with steel wool. 3) When he was in 8th grade, I saw Kaig display the single toughest act in history. While being held down by a Bradshaw, a Coleman, and numerous other MHS wrestlers after an Eisenhower/Anthony Middle School dual (which EMS won, by the way...), Kaig successfully stood up to the behemoths, and refused to name 10 cereals, even though his nurples were being RIPPED OFF. It was bonkers. I don't know how the man did it...the only explanation I can offer is that the man has iron boobs.

I don't know about iron boobs. I think Kaig just liked to not give anyone the satisfaction of doing what he should. I hit him approximately 1000 times in the back of the head. All he had to do was take a double, I even would have let him finish one once in a while, but he liked to stand there and get hit. That is what having Kill Wennedy for an older brother will do to you.

Marbla- I have never heard of Pachelbel's Canon being arranged for flute and harp. It was originally written for three violins and cello/bass (or basso continuo, if we want to get techincal), and I'm still a fan of that version.
However, I do know that one former Manhattan JV wrestler warmed up to a CD of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. No joke.
The whole town of Beloit obviously prefers Linkin Park, seeing as how that was their only CD playing at the 2002 tournament. Seriously. Two days of straight Linkin Park. *shudder*
I myself never listened to warm-up music. I preferred to skip around and slap my legs a lot.

on my computer, i have canon arrange for many different instruments: guitar, three violins and cello, guitar and piano. it's a great song.
although, i was being sarcastic; i don't use any music to warm up.
like you said, skipping around seems to suffice.
