melliott, Thank you for a great post not a me me me attitude from a father of a great wrestler, and what a well said response as well, We too see no need to wrestle the same kid 3-5 times especially if you are winning big it does nothing for either kid. Those are the EXACT reasons we started the jr program as well, and it has benifited my son who is now in High School, he enjoyed the team aspect and friendship of being with his class mates on the jr high team. I am sure he missed out on some compitition that may some day be benificial to him but we did not get into this to be world beaters if he becomes a state HS champion so be it if he places @ the state level so be it but he will have learend all the things this great sport has taught him and take them into the real world just like all the other state champions, state placers and all the other kids who just wrestled.
