I don't like the shoes now. They have to many zippers, velcro or big shoe lace covering flaps.

But I don't like that they mostly make just the really really old school ones.

what are "old school" shoes? We've only been at this 4 years and there is so much to learn. We are learning along with our son.

We are looking for a good pair of shoes to finish the year. My son has worn through the set he has now. We will be playing baseball this summer and I am not sure at this point how much summer wrestling will be feasible. So, I would like to avoid buying and breaking in a new pair at this point only for him to outgrow them. If anyone has a good pair of 7 1/2 or 8 you would part with I would be interested in buying them. We will be at Park City this weekend.

well if your soon is pretty young you could probably get an 8 and he could have some growing room. Many shoes have some give way after you break them in, so an 8 could turn into an 8.5

http://www.djsportwear.com/html/asics.html i found a pair of old school asics here, actually they are the same shoes i wore in high school back in 1992. and they are half the price they were then.

it is just like a remake of anything...it's just not like the first that came out. Kind of like the new mustangs try to look like the old ones but they just aren't the same.
