I can see your point and you are right coaches have to look out for 2-4 as well. I like the thinking that you are there to win it all but I can see some people not thinking in this manner. On any given day I would have given myself a shot at anyone. I knew walking onto the mat that I didnt have the strentgh to wrestle my opponents but the knowledge and mind set to win each and every match.

I can see your point for sure and I also know you wrestle at home this weekend so the travel time wasn't great to make the meeting. With that said it is time for me to get ready for the trip to regionals-

I do kind of know what I'm talking about. I have been helping Coach Ersland run CMSU's tournaments for the past five years. They most matches someone can wrestle in a 64-man bracket is 13. That means that a tournament can be ran in three days without anyone wrestling more than five matches in a day.

We are home this year, but went to Abilene last year for the meeting and to wrestle. Worth the time and money.

Good points by Coach Williams. I am quite sure most coaches do not worry about the time they dedicate to their sport or the amount of money they are paid. If they did they would spend the same amount of time flipping burgers as they do coaching and be a lot richer!
