this are all pretty good tips. i've been wrestling for a few years now, including cutting weight for 12 years to do so.
rules and tips are very simple.. pretty much everything that someone tells you will work. but the key is just sticking to it. and keep in mind, that everyones different, and their bodies don't handle things the same way. for instance, wrestling for so long has made my weight fluxuate alot. i can go through the same work out as friends, lose twice as much.
anyway, here's a few thinks that i'm come up with.
dont' eat when you're not hungry.. seems obvious, but it happens.. no snacks...
when hungry, before eating.. drink something first. alot of the time you're more thirsty than hungry and that will do the trick, and fluids are always good anyway.
work out often, keeps your metabolism up.
cut your general meals down, but dont' starve, that's no good. but reduce them.. and stick with it.. for instance.. eat a sandwhich and an apple for lunch, instead of school lunch..
find out the minimum amout of calories you need and try to stick to that.
buuuut if you get to the point where you've cut your food back so much that you don't have enough energy, then eat something with high calories.. such as.. peanut butter ..
anyway, that's my two cents..
i always like to hear what other people try to keep their weight under control..
