I've noticed that there has been a recent boom in new members that have started to join the forum. First of all let me welcome you to the wonderful world of wrestling talk. Second, there are a few things that new members should know.
1. Be witty. it quickly gains you respect from your peers.
2. Watch the language or Pob Bhillips will lay his swift, iron fist upon thee.
3. Choose an avatar. It should either be funny or make no sense at all. The hamburger of Jhris Cennings and the burnt toast of BNP#2 are strictly off limits. If somebody uses either of these, they will be shamed. it is equivalent to publicly having your rank and medals ripped off of your uniform if you were in the millitary.
4. Don't start stupid topics that say things like "why (enter name here) isnt very good" or try to pad your post total by saying in 3 posts what you could have said in 1.
If you follow these basic rules, you will have a long and prosperous life on the forum.
Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

bigosteve ....... unless i missed something at the last R.A.O.S meeting, we have not yet inducted new members this year (although there are several up for immediate consideration) ...... it is at this ceremony that we adorn new steve's with their steve name ...... we already have BigSteveO and would not consider such a close approximation of our honorable steve's name ...... in addition to nomination and induction criteria for steve status, we in steveville also adhere to certain rules about posting on the forum ...... if you are from steveville, please let us know so that we may discuss associate status ...... we want to encourage all who wish to embrace and support steveness, stevehood and the spiritual mission of steve to promote excellence in wrestling and expand the NNFC.

We're checking on that now, Chewie! While many here in the states know Hajisteve is over in Iraq fighting for Iraqi freedom against terrorist insurgents, he is also doing research on the origin of "Steve" and his obsession with wrestling from those ancient Babylonian texts that survived the bombings, fires, thefts and saddam whathisname ..... and, of course since the attire for many sports (in the ancient western world) was scant, and the sport of throwing a disc emerged somewhere during this time period, we're hoping he may find documentation of its existence and subsequent evolution, thus providing us the historic provenance for our own NNFC! Other than that, our brief modern era of "Steve" dates back only to January of 2003. Thanks for the question, though. I think you have Steve potential!

Sorry to go back to the original topic, but I felt I must stick up for my friend Prant. Referring to rule #3, is not the great green monster truck off limits as well?

steve is not a club...clubs are for children....steve is a lifestyle...its a choice you must make....it is a way of life...you don't just wake up one day and decide...i want to join the steves...there is a journey you must indure...then and only then can you become a steve...many men will spend their lives trying to attain such a high standard of living...steves today...steves tomorrow....steves forever...to answer your question in a more direct approach...the only way to become a steve...is to know you are one...and then to pass the high councils judgement...then and only then you will be a steve...
P.S. my real name is not steve either...this is my chosen and givin name....

Well put, Pschosteve ! Still, we encourage others to walk in the path of Steve, and, in so doing find their own path in life ...... the path goes through the room ..... the path is one of bangin' and scrappin', sweating and bleeding, torn bodies and anguished minds, discipline and sacrifice all leading to ultimate Steve Consciousness, the highest level of the focused mind at one with the spirit ....... if all this sounds too daunting, we still enjoy and support others who wish to associate with members of the Royal and Ancient Order of Steve ...... we recognize Steve potential in many of our supporters and opponents ....... wrestling is our game ...... Steve is our name ....... Good Game! Support your local NNFC team!
