Was not going to respond to this but can not sit tight anymore. Must agree with Bigkneepads #4 in that the east just has not figured it out yet (VERY slow learners). As far as Silver Lake goes they are always ranked during the year-however when state is over they arent. At 125 Baker, Lloyd, Barth and several others will hammer you Jeff so don't open mouth-you are inserting foot. I am reminded of a wrestler last year (I will not give a name) that was bragging about how he was going to place since he won his regional. You guessed it-wrestled 4th place from NW regional and got hammered and went on to lose his next match too.

I really can't believe that the 321 guys are talking trash like the big city guys do. I would think if Mr. Phillips needed any confirmation concerning the question of what happens when no control is excercised over a conversation, this episode should go a long way toward establishing it. There are bounds of common courtesy--- The KSHAA organizes events by which one can prove his prowess on the mat. This kind of verbal sewage going back and forth means nothing, except to show the poor quality of sportsmanship and lack of respect that seem to be rampant in certain areas. One thing that I do notice--- the young men that have been at or near the top of their respective divisions already are minding their own business and quietly honing their skills. That speaks volumes about where the true class of 321 lies.

getting back to the origional subject i see some verry overrated wrestlers wranked at 125 like Barth, calhoon, and patterson (ive wrestled 2 of em) and kent mann from norton left out though... i'm not complaining though, it seems like no one told kent he wasnt ranked at the first few matches of state last year
I'll say his name: dieter (spelling?)

Being a teenager doesn't excuse you from being somewhat responsible in your actions. Part of being a teenager is learning to grow up so that when you hit your college age and beyond you know how to act.

Listen, I don't mean to be a jerk, but I have been around wrestling a long long time. If I was Jeff Peterson, I would be a pissed off dude putting a target on me like that. First of all, 98% of the wrestling world has not even heard of him. Secondly, if he worked hard this summer to be a silent champion, somebody messed that up. But I have never heard of him. I have never seen him on the freestyle scene, I have never seen him on the greco scene, and I haver never seen him on the collegiate scene. JEFF PETERSON, WHO THE HECK IS JEFF PETERSON! The Peterson is a great move off the bottom, but I don't believe he invented it. If Zeleski, Douglass, Smith, etc. are not talking about him, then who is he. Is Bickley, Renfro, Whiles even talking about this cat. Do they want him????? JEFF Peterson, might be a nice guy, but to put yourself, or let your friends put you on here as the next Cael Sanderson, Pat Smith, Dan Gable, Zack Roberson, Dusty Spaulding, Eric Guerro, and the list goes on. Well, stop, become that, then we will talk about you. Until then, can somebody send me a profile on Jeff Peterson, his wins, his losses, is background. So me and the rest of the Kansas wrestling world can know who the heck he is?
