While there is little doubt the KSHSAA was unhappy about the cost of the Coliseum, I don't believe you could rent two other facilities for a lower amount. As to the KSHSAA calling their bluff, that's easy to say but means nothing because the facility wasn't going to be available anyway. In regards to my bet, I would never underestimate the power of the dollar where the KSHSAA or any other quasi-governmental agency is concerned.
