I think the Rossville Bulldog wrestling team should be ashamed how they represented the Mid-East league at the state tourney. Other than Cody Lambotte, they were horrible. Joe Zlatnik had an unfortunate time with his shoulder and I understand how that is from experience. Matt Heslet, how do you go from state runner-up to state nothing? I would be totally embarassed. Congrats to Cody Lambotte on his 3rd place finish and to a good match with 2x champ Gilliland.

true, but champions and good wrestlers overcome those bad weekends and find a way to win. Rossville was along for the ride or something. Just sort of showed up. Other than Lambotte and the injured Zlatnik

honky how can you sit there and say that stupid stuff when those wrestlers got out there and busted their butts and did they best they could, to only have someone on a computer bad mouth them. who do you think you are telling someone that they didnt do good enough to please yourself i think you should just shut up and let these kids worry about how they did and not if they satisfied honky with a worthy performance.

I'm not tryin to downgrade the effort they have put forth to get to where they got, it takes hard work i know, but I know these guys personally and most of them think they were to bad of a wrestler. To think your a stud, you got to back it up. If your gonna talk the talk, then you got to do some walkin along with that.

Honky!! You have got to be kidding me!! We are talking about high school kids here!! To just assume that they went out and laid down is ridiculous! Do you think they are not upset by their performance? They surely do not need you bashing them because they didn't do as well as you though they should, I really doubt they care to much about how dissapointed you are! I sincerely hope you don't have kids, I would hate to see how you react if they spilled some milk or didn't win at every sport they particpate in. this would be addressed to honky. First off Jake, I'm not sure how you can bag on those wrestlers who did not perform well at state. If I remember right, you were not there to experience that nervousness, ever, at Hays, for yourself. To any fault of yours, not really. If I remember right last year, there were several people from Rossville, yes, those who you are dogging on, cheering you on after you beat one of our wrestlers and then lost before placing. As I remember, Rossville has tried to cheer for all of the wrestlers from our old high school (yep, I'm from Wabaunsee). I am ashamed and embarrassed from being from that school after seeing parents from that school making fun of and talking smack on Rossville, when Rossville has been nothing but supportive of Wabaunsee's wrestling program. There have been a few past, current and future Charger wrestlers practicing with the the Rossville Kids Club and we have been proud to help them. Please don't be so quick as to point out faults, sir, as you had your own, which we supported. PS. For anyone reading this with interest, it is illegal to video another wrestler's high school match with intentions to use it to scout for your own child. PSS - busted

From what i hear from my fellow USD 321 counterparts the onjly fingers being pointed were by a certain wabunsee family to a certain rossville wrestler!

I said nothing about takin a fall, i'm talkin about thinking your a little better than everyone else. And the reason i'm responding to 321A is cause I am from a 3A school and wrestled in high school at 3A. Thats why smart kid. I wouldn't comment on something i had no clue about thank you.

I have lived in this league for @ least 15 yrs.,and the schools that
do the trash talking are the teams (5) that can back it up with the
hardware,that is either on the individual or sitting in their trophy case.
I have not heard any body bragging during wrestling season about them selves,
it is coming from the parents or other adults ,that have no clue what is going on they
just CHEER along with every body else.If there was some wrestlers out there that people were
talking up,and they did not compete up to the standards,which the parents or other adults
were putting on these individuals,then these individuals should be ASHAMED of them selves.
Every one is entitled to have a bad day or season not everyone is going to be the top dog.

HA!HA!HA!The bottom line is that wabaunsee wrestlers aren't even good enough to lick the dirt off the bottom of a rossville wrestlers shoes.i mean lets be realistic. they just had there first ever state placer in school history this past week.rossville has had several. last year alone they put three wrestlers in the finals(lambotte,gentry,and heslet).so whoever is dogging rossville wrestling shut up! one last thing if zlatnik was healthy he would beat eberwein hands down. they arent even in the same class as far as i am concerned.
