Most of the camps not being until spring or summer....you could learn for free by going to Freestyle or Greco practices. Do you go to northwest? That would help you out a bit.

University of MO usually hosts a week long camp at Valley Center HS. I think it is in June. http://mutigers.collegesports.com/camps/m-wrestl-camps.html

Also check the USAWKS site at this link:

There is going to be a great camp this summer in Lyons Ks. Yeah I know it's in the middle of no where but it should be awesome. We have attended the Shawn Charles Wrestling Camp for three years now and he has decided to move the camp to our own back yard. The link is http://www.charlescamps.com/index.php
It works as either a team or individual camp. The campers are going to be divided into teams and coached by a U. of Nebraska wreslters. The featured clinician is Eric Guerreo. The focus will be to compete in a USA Wrestling tournament at the completion of the camp on Saturday. The tournament will be open to anyone wishing to attend. The camp is limited to 100 athletes and the tournament will be open to approx. 300 total athletes. This is a great way to build team unity and to get competition and tournament experience during the summer.

If you have any questions regarding the camp please feel free to contact Shawn Charles, Assistant Coach @ U. of Nebraska, through the link provided. I may be able to answer some questions as well.

Russell usually takes their team and goes to Iowa, a Div. III school, Simpson College, they usually former All Americans, National Champions etc. in there, it's a 5 day for 4 night camp, soemthing like $220, room and board included, it's a very worthwhile camp if you want to attend, and i encourage anyone in the North Central Kansas area to go to if they have the time resources, it took me from a JV wrestler to State Qualifier in one year, you can contact coach frohling at the high school if you're interested or wish to go along with your team, it's a fun camp to go with your team too, you can call him at the school (785) 483-5631, also Simpson is currently ranked #5 in Div III rankings
