How many people will be at this thing for it's first year? I saw that it said 16 man brackets. I had asked a Mr. Matt Kerr if he would be there to show off his moves to his Jr. High kids but he is affraid. Also Ryan Jilka where are you? You should be there wrestling this Saturday!

They have gotten a great deal of phone calls and e-mails from K.C., Ark City,B.C., Newman and OK and currently have 8 pre-registered wrestlers. With this being the first year and a New Head Coach at North next year they are wanting to get it going to test the waters in Wichita and hopefully make it an annual event. I hear Jesse Meyers (North's new Head Coach) will be wrestling in it. It's also been changed to a flat $20 at the door. Everyone gets a T-shirt but, no goodie bags? Ck-out website

I've heard there are some 150lber's coming from KC and Chris Westphal 190lbs. from Maize and West's assitant is bringing 3? on top of the one's they have recieved calls on. It would be a shame if outsider's from Wichita area dominate. I think it is great Wichita is even having one here.

Carmona, it's your blinding speed that scares us all. Chris is a stinking hoss.

taos46, I have a couple of my friends coming out from high school to wrestle. No mater what, it's going to be a great time.

Well I took your place yesterday and got beat pretty good.

Chris told me he talked to some guy from the North trny. No more fun bags, I think the age groups also might end up grouped together. 30 and under Not for sure. He also told me something about a 3 dollar of coupon to .......crap I forgot. Either way I am fat and slow. Ms. Jenny said that she is gonna get people to go saturday.

Wichita wrestlers after reading the Silver Lake oldtimers I see they want the North trny to be one of the qualifers to get in to old timers state! How funny would that be.

I started stretching this morning. Who will be the first to hand out a "Hogan Leg Drop"? I've got a flying elbow off of the top rope that is pretty killer Carmona. I am already out of breath.

I run to the mail box and lose my breath. I think I will try the Boston Crab. I was wondering.....can you use the sleeper hold in oldtimers.

You can use the sleeper hold as long as you have an arm....and a pillow....and a big glass of gatorade.

Iron Warriors Rock!
There was some outstanding wrestling and great comrodery. It appearedeveryone had fun and things ran pretty smooth. I hope Jesse Meyers the future head wrestling Coach will continue this as a tradition to help an in need wrestler, no matter where they are from. I will try to get results from Chris Atlee to post.
