Lost 4 matches? Not bad well anyway if my count is correct that is 6 league championships in the last 7 years, going to Abilene. Not bad, not bad at all. Good job guys, good luck at state.

Chapman pulled there 160 bumped him up to 71 at the last min guess there were scared. That sucks that is the first time i have got to see my old team wrestle this year. and i did not get to see taplin wrestle. Chapman had no chance of winning by that time. Its not right. I drove an hour to get there i paid money to get in and did not get to see my coach's kid wrestle Thanks Chapman. Hey Chapman had some good actors though! One kid was rolling on the mat acting like is lower back hurt. Then right off the whistle hits a double.... Later in that same match he was about to be pinned by the abilene guy then he hurt his arm or something such fast healers those irish. The REF (If that what you would like to call him) Stopped the match! I heard he was from hoxie i know they know how to wrestle out there. He called i think one stalling call all night. Did not know what a pin was many times. I mean how flat does a guy have to be to get the slap on the mat? hey he did slap the mat when Schoby pinned there guy at 215 i think he was ranked .Schoby jumped up from 189 and took care of Business WAY TO GO COWBOYS GOOD LUCK NEXT WEEK !!!!!!

The reason about the coache's son for Abilene not wrestling is because our 171 lb guy was out and we had choice, which meant you guys had to come out 1st at 160...we forfeit, then you guys forfeith the next 2 back to us. As for the getting hurt and then hitting a double...you must have had a bad angle, as he was getting whizzerd down he landed on his chest and his rear end came up and touched the back of his shoulder blades. It can go both ways depending how you want to see it for many matches like wrestlerett05 saying Rein pinned his guy when he didn't.
here are the real full results as they happend Abilene names 1st:
Rein d Coles 13-9 Davidson WBF 4:29 over Cook T.Dawson MD Riffel 11-2 Geske WBF 1:41 over Nelson Kriegbaum WBF 3:30 over Arveson Peterson WBF 2:45 over Gilliland B.Dawson d Lehner 6-4 C. Wilson lost by tech fall to Anderes 0-16 Jared lost by decision to Irvine 2-8 Taplin (AHS)won by Forfeit Provance (CHS) won by forfeit Sheets (CHS) won by forfeit Schoby WBF over Westby (don't have time on this) Nonamaker LBF to Gobber in 1:47
Final 46-26

Hey Mr. Baker -
I bet the ref you badmouthed in your prior post has more high school state championships in wrestling, more high school state wrestling medals, more collegiate wrestling experience, more high school coaching experience and more experience as a referee than you.
I didn't see the dual so I don't know if your comments are valid. But I do know there are very few people that can match his dedication to and success in the sport. And even fewer who can match his integrity and honesty as a human being.
So show him some respect......he's earned it.

I now how good mike was! Thats great he has done alot. I have wrestled Kids, High School and College My dad has been a wrestling coach for around 20 years now I think I know enough about wrestling to know when a ref is not being consistent with calls.
I have shared a few emails with mike since I put the post up. He has told me that officiating is not as easy as it looks from the stands. He asked me what I thought he did wrong. We talked about each match he even told me that he was not consistent with the stalling calls.
I agree with you about his integrity he took my criticism very well better than i would have!
Now for you les
I dont care if you won a gold medel at the olmpics that does not mean that you can not screw up a few times. I hope I helped mike with a little criticism and i wish him well! He has done alot for this great sport.

It can go many ways, but Abilene and Chapman got some calls that were equally off. Although you can probably tell me more bad things that happend to Abilene then I could about the Cowboys. While I could just as easy rattle off some missed calls during the dual for the Irish.

What difference did it make, the score was not even close enough to warrent enough attention from the ref. As a ref myself it boils my blood when someone talks bad about me without coming up to me directly and saying it. Many choose to hind on here behind fake names knowing they can say whatever they want. At least Lucas has the courage to post under his real name and may have had some valid arguements in what he said.
