Just a few thoughts on this subject.

1. Sequential order, its only seems natural to start with the lightest weight. The only other way to do it is go from HWT to 103, which could be an idea but its not going to happen. If you watch wrestling you would know that you can't just start at some random weight becuase of the way the matches are assigned based on first availibility. They have in last couple of years started to allow teams in Duals to start at a random weight class and bounce arround but it can cuase confusion.

2. While there may be every so often a good match for the upperweights in my entire 12 years of wrestling I have only seen maybe 3 or 4 good heavyweight matches. No one really wants too see two big guys push each other around for two periods. The want to see leg takedowns and things like that. The only exception I can think of is Jeff Boyle from Norton who as a heavyweight would shoot like a 119 pounder.

So as you can see most people aren't as ecited about the upper weight.
