I think that 103 is by far the toughest weight. These kids may very well infact be the best atheltes in the world, not to mention the weight they could throw around in the weight room..WOW :p

i would agree, 103 is almost always the simplest to win hence more often than not freshman sophmore win it since junior and seniors are few and far between

How could you think 103 is the hardest, its usually compacted of the not-as-experienced freshmen, not doggin on 103 though because i wrestled that weight, but i dont see how it could be anywhere NEAR 3-2-1a 145, even the top 3 ranked kids are gunna have a hard time, it could go to anyone, even someone no one has heard of, i have to give it up to anyone who is wrestling that weightclass

Nah 171, 189, 215 are the toughest. Almost always have Junior/Seniors with lots of experience. Heavy would be next as there isnt as many moves and if you get put on your back you usually dont get up.

I agree, I do think the heavier weight classes are the toughest. They usually have experience and strength. 103 is the training ground for the higher weight classes. I have seen a couple wrestlers have great success in 103 and then when they move up to 119 or even 112 they struggle.

from what I have seen this year, I think 4a 152 and 321 a 145 are going to be the toughest depthwise. 130 in 4a and 112 in 4a and 135 in 4a may be some of the toughest to win because of the very tough indivduals (1 or two) but 321-145 and 4-152 have the highest quality numbers, I think.

The middle weights are always the best. You have a mix of upper classmen and top notch younger guys like Neil Erisman. I am sorry but for the most part the heavier guys are not good technicians. It is like watching football without the pads! Don't get me wrong there are a few with the total package but from top to bottom the technique isn't there like it is in the middle weights. The question is "toughest weight class" so I am looking at top to bottom.

I'd have to say from 145-171 or 189 is the toughest. Those guys are usually talented juniors and seniors. Usually you have to have the total package at these weights to win it.

i think that 125 all around with all the classes is by far the toughest. They got baldrige, McCormick, Herra, Close, Spillman, Cornajo (mis-spelled), silert, just too name a few, then there are alot of strong wreslers that are not even ranked at 25

4a 160 I believe is the hardest Most guys move up in rankings if they placedd in the same weight class the year before but everyone has stayed the same all the way through. There is state placers from last year that aren't even ranked
