1993 NCAA Champion 2 time NCAA All-American 1993 Big 8 Champion U.S. Open National Champion 3-time U.S. Open National finalist 2 time U.S. World Team Member (97,98) Espoir National Champion 1998 World Cup Bronze Medalist 1998 Goodwill Games Bronze Medalist 1999 World Cup Silver Medalist 2 time Junior National Champion (4X Finalist) 2 time Missouri State Champion College coach 1993-2002 - Oklahoma State University - University of Oklahoma - University of Missouri - Clarion University of Pa
As I recall, the Stench claimed to be mentioned in the Hall of Fame and I do not see that on this bio, so my guess may be inaccurate.

I would be dissapointed for it to be Coach Purler. I have always respected the program he and his brother run, many of our kids from Kansas and Missouri have been a part of it. I would not believe it would benefit his business to be part of an online forum bashing people.

I didn't think Satiev was ever on the U.S. team, though...

Tony is a mans man. ROB QUISENBERRY I agree. My son was a member of Tony's academy for almost two years. I believe that Tony made a tremendous difference in his wrestling also. I think Tony is great with kids. From my son's experience at his Tony Purler's Academy, I would highly recommended his camps or academy to any wrestler interested in improving their performance. Tony communicates well with the parents also. I really like and have a great deal of respect for Tony. I know my son agrees.

I took exception with something else you posted a couple of weeks ago, but personally I think you did a real good thing with your post in admitting that you were not Tony or Nick.

Now, here's some trivia. I coached Tony and Nick for a short time. Prant that was after my ballet stint with the Manhattan Ballet Company.

Gutwrench why do you insist on keeping everything so secret. Just like watching everyone try and guess who you are? I don't think it really matters who you are, but you do post up some pretty offensive things.

"Offensive?" True but every once in a while gutwrench does have nuggets of wisdom. While he might prey on some he has good advice for others.
I don't always agree with what he has to say and the way he plays with some of you but his message definitely has merit.

Originally posted by gutwrench1: Let me say right now that I am not Tony or Nick Purler. I have received an e-mail stating that I owe Tony Purler an apology for introducing this topic. I disagree, the topic is simply a question asking gutwrench1 if this was his biography. gutStench has made numerous posts mentioning Kevin Klemm and East Kansas Wrestling Club and has hinted he is from the Metro area. gutwrench1 has made the following statements: Originally posted by gutwrench1: I've paid my dues and got more than my fair share of acclaim as a coach and wrestler. Originally posted by gutwrench1: Pretty soon I'm going to reveal who I am and make you feel like idiots. Originally posted by gutwrench1: Hint: I'm listed in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame of Champions in Stillwater. I do enjoy stirring you guys up. Yes, Dity-Bird, I can knock your you know what it the dirt. What KS coaches won\'t teach you about the Johnston and Bunch style From my personal perspective, gutStench1 has introduced topics which, aside from the fact he has attacked Kansas high school wrestling coaches, are important to Kansas wrestling. With that said, in order for gutStench1 to have any credibility, it is time to honor his statement to identify himself. How many individuals, based on the following information provided by gutStench "I've paid my dues and got more than my fair share of acclaim as a coach and wrestler." are there in Kansas or the Metro area? I have provided information that resembles the qualifications stated by gutwrench1!
