The tourny at shawnee height was smooth and hospitible... The brackets and finalist introduction were alittle disappointing... I think regionals should be used to highlight the best kids in each region...I think all regions should put on a show for the qualifiers, not all kids are goin to be state placers so the little think to make the event special will effect a lot more kids.

There were some great matches and wrestling. Lansing was very dominate from top to bottom and of course KC Turner was solid as well. Both teams are primed to dual it out next week for the championship.

Best matches that the crowd got into was prob the 140lbs final between Flynn and Brooks... 140 was stacked with quality wrestlers. Brooks has been wrestling the last 3 weeks on one arm and gave him a battle but just couldn't finish the match as the pain was too much... Also the 160 match with Reed and Bailes was a tough high scoring match for big guys in a regional final I think the final score was 20-14.

The biggest suprise was Walker tech fall over Singleton in the 2nd period. Singleton was seeded over Walker and I believe is a 2 time state placer.

Also get well soon to Posey from Wyandotte who I believe sprained his ACL.
