I personally have witnessed the two wrestle at both regionals and state now and WOW! WOW! WOW! This poll won't change the fact that both men put their hearts into the match for an intense battle. A hand was raised in the end, but there is just part of me that wishes the both men could have stood a top the podium.

Strawn is a good old country boy that's clean behind the ears with a good family background and a bright future ahead of himself at Division 1 Old Dominion University.

Sutton-Kearn meanwhile is a young man battling for respect after a cloud of controversy off the mat in his past and being labled a "problem child". But if you noticed he didn't throw a fit, cry, or curse like many others would have, instead he walked to the center, sunk his head a bit in defeat, and then him and Strawn embraced.

The emotion of the crowd was sucked into what easily was the best match from a fan's standpoint in the finals (with no disrespect intended for the other finalists). But,it sickens me that when Strawn went to recieve his State Championships he was Booed! Shame on Kansas 4a wrestling for booing a guy that didn't do anything dirty or cheap in a match, but whom the official deemed to be the more aggressive whether we like it or not.

In closing I'd like to say hats off to both Stawn and Sutton-Kearn for a great match and for being great sports in the two epic matchups they had against each other. These two embraced prior to the finals when introduced with the other finalists in both weeks, and embraced afterwards as well. It's a fact of life that someone has to win, and someone has to feel the "agony of defeat" however Jesse Strawn and Chris Sutton-Kearn are both bound for a ton of more success on the next level.

Congrats to both fine young men, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
