I am perplexed in this issue for a variety of reasons. Truth is, that at times Gutwrench has given some good and valuable advice. The other truth is that he has said some things that some could construe as being inapproriate on the forums. I think he is just trying to rile some people up and have fun but that don't mean I am correct or know this to be fact. The issue is that there are rules on the forums. One of which seems to give indication that if saying something negative, then one must be willing to sign the post with their name, and/or their email. I think the issue here is not just Gut but many others who don't follow this policy, and then we as a community which don't enforce the policy.

Here are the rules:

This is a free forum, created for the purpose of promoting Kansas wrestling, and those who wrestle, through the exchange of thoughts and suggestions, and for the recognition of the accomplishments of those involved in our sport.

There are just two basic rules that are necessary to keep in mind. First, remember that this is a family oriented forum, and is regularly viewed by young wrestlers. Second, "cheap shots" will not be tolerated. If you are going to post a message critical of an individual, group or idea, you must give your true name and/or email address. Be willing to stand behind your comments, or keep them to yourself.
I found nothing in gutstench's positive suggestions that couldn't have been lifted from any number of wrestling camp handouts. Besides, there is a point when the harm that one does outweighs any and all positive actions.
In regard to the forum rules, where did you get part (b)? I'll be honest, I've never read the rules of any forum I participate in because I don't troll and I do not use vulgar language. I scrolled up and read the rules of this forum and found nothing other than language rules. Again, I find the need for persons to know anothers identity strictly a means of quieting dissent or debate. Those that visit more than just this board know how heated some of these debates can get. Recently it came to my attention on a college board where one of the combatants contacted the others employer in an attempt to get that person fired for using the company computer. So, I would say if you choose to put you name to your posts go ahead but beware there can be consequences.
