Dusty Elliot (4th last year), Brad Traina (kids state champ), and Brandon Bonewell should be pretty tough in kids division

The wichita classic really screwed up the seeding, they had romero cotton unranked even though he won highschool state, there were a couple other unranked highcschool kids that had brackets stacked on one side. good competition though.

I got to ref Arveson today, and before he showed up at the mat his opponent was already checked in waiting, and I walk towards him and he says to me "I don't know why I'm even out here i'm gonna get stomped" I had a good laugh at that one.

I don't believe the Classic screwed up the seeding, the information about wrestling experience, state championships, etc wasn't sent in or they would have been seeded.

There were almost 1400 wrestlers at the Classic.
In an effort to stream line the seeding a process has been developed to ensure that the top wrestlers are placed appropriately, however that process relies on the administrative personnel from each club sending in appropriate information on their wrestlers. If that information is not sent in, then the wreslter will be placed on the bracket accordingly.
I do not have tne exact information in front of me but I believe that the top four finishers were seeded top four in their bracket over 75% of the tournament.

SFoster (are you "big" Foster or "little" Foster - sorry, but we all cracked up when we heard the page at Classics, knowing the size of your boy!) You also have alot of high school wrestlers who just joined clubs, so their coaches may not have had an accurate picture of their abilities. My boy was seated 4th (he placed 6th at HS State), and wrestled a kid who placed 6th at 6A, who was seated 1st. My son took this as a challenge and won his bracket. Not knowing the other wrestlers I probably would have seated his bracket the same way. Only after seeing them all wrestle would I make changes in the seating.
