My son, Ryne, lost his sixth set of Tornado headgear in 12 calendar months. He left it near mat 14 at the Salina TOC. It is an all black headgear with his name written on it in silver. I told him if he lost another his season was over. If you have this headgear or know where it is I will pay for shipping.

Usually he loses it because he has trouble coping with his losses but this time he won his last match so I am not sure what to do next. His coach, Mark Slyter, and I have agreed that we will tape it to his head to remain there the entire day for all of the tournaments the remainder of the season. It is either that or hook it up with some electronics so that if he gets more than 10 feet from it he gets a good shock!

THANKS

Will, I believe I have your sons headgear. Upon cleaning up after the tournament, there was a complete set of black "Tornado" headgear turned in to the lost & found. Give me a call at 785-823-3237 and i'll see that it gets put in the mail.

R/S,
Chris Endreshak

I have already made him pay for two. Yes, the work was manual. $200 worth of headgear in less than a year... Much to his mother's dismay I would have probably come up with alternative punishment as I enjoy the sport as much as he does!

Wow it's so great that someone was honest enough to turn in the headgear. We had a similar experience with my 10 year old this weekend. He lost once again another under armour shirt matside. This would've been his 2nd one to lose this season and 3rd or 4th one in the last couple of years. I sent him up to the head table to see if by chance someone had turned it in and to my suprise it was there. It was so nice to see that there are still honest people out there. It says alot about the caliber of people involved in youth wrestling in the state of Kansas.

Jeff, are any of them red in color. I refuse to pay another 30 plus bucks for more headgear just cause my kid is in high school and wants the correct color. Sorry , dont mean to be rude but seriously, I have bought way too many sets of head gear over the yrs. If noone claims them i will buy a pair at a discount price. LOL

Well if Will doesnt claim them, I may just give them away to some needy kids. Ryne continues to leave them in the practice room and I continue to pick them up. I may just go into the headgear business at this rate.

BTW - They have all been black and said Ryne Cokeley on the side of them but I got most of it scratched off so he cant tell. :-)
