In Hays Kansas the Southern Plains camp has been determined to be a success by camp director Bob Phillips. Starting Sunday and ending this Wednesday evening about 90 campers and a dozen coaches has 10 sessions and roughly 20 hours of intense training.

A great deal of the success of the camp has to go first of all to Bob Phillips and then to Coach Cody Bickley of Ft. Hays State University. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Coaches Renfro and Rieck and the entire quality young men of FHSU wrestling team. They led a very intense but yet fun camp.

Regardless of how the athletes compete in Carlsbad it has been my absolute pleasure to get to know the athletes and coaches!
