Your boys battled like true Southwind Warriors. We had some tough draws and still was able to place in Greco and come down to the wire with Missouri in Freestyle. We suffered in the Par Terre position with some of our wrestlers lacking in greco/freestyle experience. I was very proud of everyone and expect big things from all of the young men that participated. We had a few wrestlers that were just outstanding and some that took some lumps and just kept battling back. I was a little disappointed because I think we could have done better but I had and still have high expectations of this group they have some talent but have a hard time focussing on the task at hand. I think if they train hard for the next few weeks we will be bringing back more stop signs then a driver on his way to work would like to encounter. So train hard, do the work and enjoy the journey. For some will win and some will lose but becoming a Southwind Warrior will be deep in your soul Forever.

I am very busy right now with paperwork from the duals and substituting teaching summer school but plan to put down all the thanks to those who helped this Kansas Team succeed in a later post. So get ready to see your name and the much appreciation and respect I have for you and plan to make public so others can appreciate and respect all you did for these young men and the state of Kansas.
