Kansas showed heart in the Freestyle competition, going 3-4 in 7 duals. After a 1-5 record in Greco, it was great to see our Kansas kids wrestle tough to finish the duals! In most duals we gave up 4 open weights and sometimes 5. We won 4 duals and almost beat a solid New York team.

I want to congratulate all of the wrestlers on the Schoolboy team for representing our State! Thanks to Will Cokeley and Charlie Knox for all of the work that they poured into the futures of our Kansas kids!
