Shelsten, I think your on track… the previous comments puzzle me because it’s contrary to what is trying to be accomplished. A kid will suck down really hard and then hydrate back up to his desired weight. We have kids losing more weight than they should have to for the weight class they intend to wrestle. I still think monitoring with education is the proper approach. Not mandated rules… we have already seen threads on how to “beat the system” and not the positive side of why it’s important. A proactive stance needs to taken not reactive!
