Sport Fan you are right on. We are there to wrestle and we are there to make sure that our kids get to compete against the best in order to become the best wrestlers they can. The Derby wrestling club did provide us with that this weekend. GOOD JOB. I would sound like a hypocrit if I did not say that I was frustrated that the tournament did start the time that it did, but that is part of the game and I got over it once it did get started. With 800+ wrestlers you are going to have some road blocks and the "coaching staff" did an excellent job getting through them. At the coaches meeting they let us know what the problem was and what we needed to do to make sure that it does not happen again. Once the wrestling started it ran very smooth and we finished at a respecable time. Again it is up to us as clubs and coaches to make sure that we make sure that we have our info to the clubs correct and on time to help them start on time. The only complaint I have is the way that the lady doing brackets approached other coaches and parents that had questions. Short and rude. Things do get hectic and when you are trying to do the best you can and things are not going your way one does get short, but remember that we are paying customers. Lets treat each other with some respect. And that goes for us as coaches and parents as well remeber that they are trying to do the best they can.

With that being said who wants a hug? Jess Keith? Your first!!!!
