Kansas Young Guns Shootout Open/Novice
Sunday, December 11th, 2022
Location: Goddard High School, 2500 - S. 199th Street West
Entry Fee: $30.00 per wrestler (non-refundable) Must accompany entry online.
Weigh In: Home site weigh in provided they are held within 24 hours of tournament. Please email us your email address for your team login information to be sent. One login in per team. Weights must be entered by 6:00 pm Saturday, December 10th.
Entry Deadline: No Entries or Changes will be made after 10:00 pm on Thursday , December 8th, 2022
Entries limited to the first 600 paid entries
Registration: Pre-Register your team online with Track Wrestling. No telephone entries will be accepted.
Payment will be submitted online during registration. www.trackwrestling.com
Rules & Format: Split Tournament: Morning session 6&U, 10&U, and 14&U
Afternoon Session 8&U and 12&U 1:00pm (approximately)
This is a Sanctioned event. All wrestlers must have a valid USAW card.
High School rules with Kansas Kid's modification.
Age as of September 1, 2022.
Time Periods: 6&U, 8&U and 10&U: 1-1-1 / 12&U and 14&U: 1.5-1.5-1.5
Double Dipping is allowed in different Divisions only!! (Additional entry fee required)
Brackets will include 16-man, 8-man and round robin, double elimination format
Headgear is mandatory. No Novice for 6U, 12U and 14U
Coaches Meeting: 7:50 am (Coaches bands are required to be mat side)
Wrestling Starts: 8:00 am
Awards: Medals to the top four of each bracket. 4" Gold 3" Silver & Bronze
Weight Divisions: Please rate all wrestlers A, B, C or D
