The 2006 Kansas National Hall of Fame and Museum Banquet will be held on Saturday October 21 6pm Plaza Hotel Garden City,Kansas.

I am proud to announce that my dad (Dale Sharpe) received a letter from the National Headquarters of State Chapters saying that he will be receiving the "Lifetime Service to Wrestling"a award and will be inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.....My family and I are very proud of him!

The National Office has notified me that all of the Kansas nominees have been selected in to the 2006 Kansas Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. I will be sending out a press release to the media centers in Southwest Kansas. Congratulations to the fine Men and Women of Southwest Kansas RMG

The event last night was fantastic! Being in the same room with these legendary coaches was very humbling.

... and all the stories ... wow!!

AMEN Mr. Hinderliter. Last night's banquet was amazing. From the stories told there, I will definitely carry a strong memory of that night forever. And I have to say it was quite a shock to see you in a suit instead of the crazy colorful shirts and shorts that I'm used to seeing you in at Kids State Wrestling :):D haha...Well Hope everyone enjoyed last night's event as much as I did.

I agree with you both also....it was an amazing night.....and to here some of the stories about Scott City and how it used to be fun to come here was funny.....I was also shocked to see Mr. Hinderliter in a suit....you looked very nice....It was a great honor to get to meet so many legendary coaches, especially Mr. Welton. I enjoyed the night so much and I hope everyone else did too.
