Loss of long time wrestling supporter...

Last night the wrestling community lost a great person, coach, and advocate. Steve Ukele spent countless hours coaching, refereeing, and volunteering at the kids and high school levels. He has been the cornerstone of Sabetha Wrestling for years and years, working to provide kids the opportunity to step on the mat and wrestle. Please keep the Sabetha community and the Ukele family in your thoughts and prayers as we grieve the loss of Steve, his sister-in-law, Carmen, and niece, Marlee.

Steve wrestled my brothers in 71 and 72. He then was a referee before leading the kids club and also was the high school asst for several years. Every time Sabetha and ACCHS met up he stopped to talk with me. TRULY dedicated to Sabetha wrestling and an outstanding person. How sad for all of you and especially the two boys to go from the high of winning state football to this tragedy all in one day
