WOW that caught me off guard, thought he might look around at some other schools...good luck to Lucas at FHSU...he could possibly start right away and do some pretty good things for the Tigers...

Now where will Kriegbaum go? I'm still guessing North bound somewhere.

There's no doubt about it, Coach Bickley has been pulling in some top-quality Kansas talent. Here are just a few recent recruits:

Kory Lira (Ulysses)
Devin Schwartz (Great Bend)
Shawn Drennan (Minneapolis)
Ryan Phillips (Holton)
Aaron Meister (Holton)
Andrew Ubben (Phillipsburg)

This list includes a Cadet National Champion and an NJCAA National Champion. All of them are readily recognizable names by anyone who follows Kansas wrestling. It's great to see top Kansas kids wrestling for Kansas schools!

What's interesting to me is he is down as 133, that's where Drennan is right now. One of them will move to 141 next year I imagine?

Or one will have to cut his rear down to 125....I've seen some pretty lean guys at 135 in high school come into college and have to suck down to 125...sad to see these guys struggle to make weight...but I think redshirting him wouldn't be a bad idea either...let him grow or whatever...we shall see....

Fort Hays also has Phil Hart who won the 165lb. varsity spot last week.

I saw Phillips at the CMSU tournament he is going to redshirt this year. He would have been 165 this year for Hays.

Phillips woulda been backup 165. The reason he is redshirting is because Hart beat him out for varsity. I talked to some people on the team and they said Hart beat him pretty bad in the wrestle off.

I don't think that is why he redshirted. I heard he was going to redshirt before the tryout match.

Phillips is redshirting b/c he lost the wrestle off with Hart... who of which is a cheap wrestler who intentially hurt one of our Labette wrestlers when they went out of bounds. Fortunately, Cole Fredrickson was able to finish the match and defeat Hart. Hart had better watch it cuz he's gonna get his when tha Dirtybirds come to the Hays tourny. MESS WITH THE BIRD...YOU GET THE BEAK!

Phillips is decently tough, But Meister is the man in that group.

Don't tell me that Hart is a cheap wrestler. I wrestled with him for two years, and he is one of the classiest guys I know. The few people that thing he wrestles cheap are the ones who cannot hang with his intensity. I know several occasions where he would go so hard in practice that he would be near passing out. It was not uncommon for him to have to stop practicing becasue he had a gash on his face from constantly banging with bigger guys. Phil is a class act, and clearly you are not because you have to badmouth him online. I bet your tune would be a little different if you met him face to face.

Allright GoldenDomer... first off I have met Hart face to face and I would tell him just the same as I said online... the way he wrestled one of our guys was cheap and to let ya know incase you couldn't read in my earlier post, our guy still won. I'm not badmouthing him b/c we couldn't hang or because he beat us... I'm simply stating that one of our guys/possibly a starter may be out the rest of the season b/c Hart was getting frustrated and made an unsportsmanlike foul out of bounds.

GO DIRTYBIRDS... TCOB

In any case, I don't see how your post pertains to this topic, Early College Signings. Perhaps Hart was frustrated, but that is no reason to go spreading malicous information about him. Surely you have never wrestled a "less than clean" match yourself, eh? Why don't you keep the personal attacks to yourself?

And by the way, "Allright" is spelled with one L: A-l-r-i-g-h-t.
