2002 Big 12 Wrestling Championship

For the first time since 1998, the University of Oklahoma is the site of the Big 12 Wrestling Championships. The event will take place on Saturday, March 9, at the newly renovated Lloyd Noble Center. The Big 12 Conference consists of teams from Iowa State University, The University of Missouri, The University of Nebraska, The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.

Tournament and Ticket Information
The first round of the tournament will begin at 11 a.m. followed by the semifinals at noon and the finals at 7 p.m. Tickets to the event are $10 for adults and $5 for students (through college) and are good for all sessions. Events
A free wrestling clinic will be conducted at the Lloyd Noble Center from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will be followed by an autograph session. These events will take place just prior to beginning of the tournament. Recent Sooner National Champions Byron Tucker and Michael Lightner will conduct the instructional clinic. The clinic is free to those with a valid tournament ticket.
