Three-Style Nationals

Midwest Three-Style Nationals
This tournament will identify who is the most dominant wrestler across all styles at each weight in each age groups division during two days of wrestling. The tournament is the Triathlon of Wrestling. The most dominant wrestler across all three styles is crowned Three-Style Champion.

This sound like a good oppotunity for the good Kansas wrestlers to show how good we actually are. Kansas wrestlers don't get any respect as far as wrestling wise. We have a lot of great wrestlers in Kansas at all ages, nad we always have a lot of placers at national level tournaments but still nothing. Well I hope we can get a big team together and show all all of the other states how good we are.

A couple thoughts. Last year was the first year for this tournament. It was very small but the competition was pretty good. By small I am saying only 3-4 kids in some weights that are usually very large. It's also holiday weekend.

Personally I would rather us all to go Paola and make that a tough tournament. That way we could be home for two more days and not have the expense of the hotels, gas, etc.

Just my thoughts.

Yes, as it's first year it was small last year. Last year we had kids from Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowas. This year we are hoping that other nearby stated send kids to wrestle. It was small but most of the competition was top level competition and you cannot get that at most local tournaments.

Sounds like a great tournament. I wish I could attend.
