Hey I just wanted everyone to know that Mark Anderson just got his FILA upgrade. He is now a FILA I. Many do not know all the hard work it takes to get this ranking, especially now when international officiating is just looking for a reason to downgrade someone from the US. Mark has worked long and hard as an official and this ranking is well deserved. If you think of it the next time you see Mark congradulate him on a job well done.

I spoke to Mark about this last weekend and mentioned this on another thread. For those that don't know, Big Mark is now certified to officiate in the Olympic Games. Way to go Mark.

Congratulations Mark, a great ref and t-shirt salesman.

That would explain why he stiffed me at a junior high meet earlier this season and I had bust out a whistle so we could move the meet along.

RedStorm. There is absolutely no reason why you should bash a ref. Think about it, they do their best EVERY time they officiate and sometimes they miss stuff but a little advice for you, stop blaming the ref for something when you probably could have pushed yourself harder to ultimately could have come out on top.

I understand that you're new, judgeing by that fact you've only posted 11 times, but...

You do realize you responded to a coach right? I'm quite certain that COACH DeWitt was making a little humor that an Olympic level official didn't help him ref a meet and so he had to ref it...

Also Redstorm is a moderator here at this forum and can zap any old post he wants quicker than Mark Anderson can call a stall call in a 1-0 match.

That is good advice. Thank you. But if I was going to bash a ref, you would know it. For example, I would say, "Terry Hilton is short!"

Fact is, having reffed before I started coaching ten years ago, you'd be hard pressed to see me ever criticize a referee. We disagree from time to time, but who doesn't.

Mark was double booked, couldn't show up so I put a couple of leg bands on my wrists and went to work. Good part was the school paid me for my services and I got Mark to wave the freight charge on my next order of apparel!

RedStorm goes back to my days in Tonganoxie when I was annonymous. (Red = School Color Storm = Kansas) Then Kit Harris put me to work for the KWCA doing rankings and such so I started signing my name, but left the log in name for simplicity sake. So there you go.

Bottom line, don't respond to a post unless you know what you are talking about unless you are RichardDSalyer.

Good news Mark. We needed you in the finals at SMNW. Too bad you had to leave. The 215 final would have been a lot different!

RedStorm, i apologize, i haven't been on the forum since last wrestling season and i was just simply brushing up and felt the need to back up the officals. I will say that i did not know that you were a coach but i really don't pay attention to who does the posts, just whats in black and white. I will say that the job you do is impressive. Doing the rankings is very tough and i couldn't imagine trying to sort good from bad for everyone across the state of kansas. Again, sorry sir.

I too would like to congratulate Mark Anderson though he claims never to read the forum! Can you imagine someone who doesn't read the forums?

Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?

Not a problem, I wish more posters had your integrity.
