We will practice Monday through Friday @ 7:00pm unitl 8:30pm. Practice will be @ Derby High School and is open to all ages but our practices will be a at a high school level practice. We only have 8 more practice days before Brute and need to be prepared and ready to rule as a state again. All participants will need a USA card and if you do not have one we will have the proper paperwork at practice.

We have commitments from various coaches in the area which will be helping out including Kenny Taylor Jr., Steve Herman, Ray Kramer, and of course our regular coaches, myself and Curtis Chenoweth. We will be needing more coaches especially for Brute this year. We will be better structred this year and will be representing Team Kansas that will once again, show the rest of the country what we are all about.

Individuals across the state need to register prior April 3 for the tournament and register under Kansas Wizzers. Coach Gonzalez is also helping organize this and is working with wrestlers in the NE part of the state and other areas.

Wrestling for the season don't have to be done. Let's represent Kansas. Also, note that in the Wizzer room in Wichita, we will work some on FS and Greco as well as we want our local wrestlers to start getting ready for the Summer season. This is truly the time of year where we become Team Kansas, let's all remember that and promote our wrestlers whether at Brute or USA Folkstyle Nationals, Reno or wherever.

There are a number of coaches helping out including those mentioned and others. The wrestlers in the room don't really require a lot of coaching right now, there are so many state champions and nationally ranked wrestlers it is unreal. I would challenge anyone with a better rooom. One of the things that would be fun, if Akin's army is willing, is to get together the day before and let the guys work out together, let the NE part of the state and Wichita area beat up on someone else. Even run a dual with them would be a lot of fun. How about it Eric?

Another great practice last night, our biggest group yet, even though we were missing some studs due to baseball and TENNIS last night. We are having a Friday practice tonight and will practice on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. Times are the same 7:00 - 8:30 PM Also be on the look out for a big reminder regarding a Thursday workout between Akins's Army and the Kansas Wizzers in the Kansas City area prior to weigh in. It will be nice for a final weight reduction practice, and a chance to beat up on someone other than who is in the room.
