While there are a few negatives ... especially when it comes to costs ... here are a few positives!
Brute presents all finalists with a customized singlet! On top of that the champion also is presented with a watch!! that's cool.....he's outgrown his dad's !

An update from the Ottawa Mat Masters!
All of these wrestlers are All-Americans!
Alex Aguirre will be going for 7th
KC Sparks will be going for 7th
Selena Sparks will also be vying for 7th
Sam Carver is competing for 7th
Dalton Weidl will be going for 3rd
as is his brother Dylan Weidl, going for 3rd
Caleb Parenti is vying for 5th
Jared Parenti is in the Finals!
Chris Coover is trying for 3rd
Marcus Ferguson in competing for 5th
and Anthony Monares is vying for 7th!!!

They are currently setting up for their parade! Then all the final placement matches!
"All-American" is a term that gets tossed around by a lot of folks in all sports! Most of these wrestlers have truly earned the name, All-American!

THE PARADE *****
The floor is being invaded by the first, second, and third grade All-Americans!
The "Lone Ranger" theme is being piped into the facility as the fourth, fifth, and sixth graders come onto the arena floor! The top 8 at each age group and weight class are named All-Americans!

Now the age groups that have been included in this event since its inception. Our freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are on the floor ... grooving to "Born in the U.S.A." sung by the Boss, Bruce Springsteen!

The crowd is a little thinner as tons of kids came up just short of gaining AA! Folks have come to the heartland from Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and South Dakota. Some slept in their own bed last night but most stayed in a nearby hotel!
The KCI Expocentre may not have been prepared for nearly 1,600 kids and their parents! Regardless, it is going to come to a close with these final bouts ... bouts to determine placement!

... that's truly a powerful question. Fear cripples a lot of people. At times in my life fear has stopped me dead in my tracks.
But these young warriors are pretty immune from the nature of fear!
