He been our coach for as long as we remember at Coronado and Schlagle. Now we have a coach that never stepped on the mat before. But we are just kids and we are supposed to just say thats life. Right now noone is going out for the team till we find out why.

You should wrestle for yourself and the love of the sport. Give the coach a chance and help him have a successful season.

Hey what happened to ol Travius, I used to wrestle for him and Matthews back in the day. Is he in trouble?

I don't know anything about Travius' situation, and I'm not real familiar with the Schlagle program, but I do know from having seen the Schlagle guys wrestle a few times in the past few years that Travius did a great job with those guys. That's a program that has developed a lot of pride during the past couple years, and deservedly so. My hope is that the guys come out and wrestle, regardless of what the situation is. It seems to me that would be the best way to honor the coach -- Go out and show everybody what he taught you. He wouldn't want you to abandon the sport. The truth is he'd want you to keep going, to push yourself and your teammates as hard as possible, and to be the best you can be.
