Heading with the family to Cedar Rapids, IA tommorrow to watch the D-3 championships. We won 3 nights accomodations and tickets via an online contest. Have seen all the levels previously exception of D3. Will look for some Kansas connections up there and post.

I went to the Nationals Duals and you will see some KS boys.

Just back from D 3 nationals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Got to see Salina's own Nick Nothern earn all american status and Paola's Josiah Payne compete at 285 in the tourney.

A very overall enjoyable experience, the Cellular Center, home of the D2 nationals this week is a bit dreary, but the wrestling was great and the fans some of the most informed and fervent fans I have ever been around.

Got to talk extensively with Coach Gable on Friday, he is still a workout monster giving demonstrations on how he uses the Adam machines.

Anyone going up this weekend for D2s that wants some insider tips on places to eat and visit while you are there. Drop me a PM. Thought we had a Waunita sighting just off of 35 north at the winterset exit. A spot called the Hitching Post. If you have time, stop there on the way or way back, order the Flying 57 sanwich!!!
