We already have wrestlers from the following states signed up:
Kansas
Missouri
Iowa
Illinois
South Dakota
Minnesota

- With about a month left to register, I know there will be large group sign up in the last couple of weeks. I encourage everyone, especially Kansas and Missouri, to register early. The move to Staley High School will allow this tournament to be bigger and run faster and smoother than ever before!

Just a reminder that all wrestlers must pre-register, there is no registration at the tournament. You have to register online through trackwrestling.com Go to www.fallbrawlwrestling.com for the link and information

Not selling USA cards on site may reduce numbers. Some states require kids sign up through their club. Some clubs have not even renewed their annual dues yet - therefore are not a 2008/09 club. Just an FYI. Also they may not get their card back in time
which also may create some issues unless the tournament directors have a list of kids from every state involved. It only takes one kid who says he has his card - but doesn't really have one. If that person got hurt it would or could be a problem.

Can they sign up without a USA Card? Or do they have to do the USA card first?

USA Cards will be for sale Friday night during weigh-ins. They will not be available on Saturday.
You can register with out a card, but you will not be given your weigh in card unless you have your USA Wrestling card.

At this point, how can a kid get a USA card in time to compete Saturday? Is it too late?

- There is a home football game at Staley High School on Friday night. We are encouraging everyone to arrive early for weigh ins. Weigh ins will open at 5:30pm on Friday. If you arrive later in the evening parking spaces will be hard to find. Weigh ins will still be open from 5:30 to 9pm

- USA Wrestling cards are required for all wrestlers and will be for sale Friday night only at weigh ins. You will not be allowed to weigh in unless you have a current USA Wrestling card. Coaches will get free admission with a current USA Wrestling coaches card. We will allow a coach to coach with out a current USA Wrestling coaches card, however only coaches with current USAW cards will receive free admission to the tournament.

- Registration closes tomorrow (Thursday) at Noon. There is absolutely no registration after that time. If you need to change weights you must change by Thursday at Noon (this can be done by logging into your registration on track wrestling with your invoice number and password). If you do not make weight or wish to change weights after registration has closed there will be a $20 fee to do so.

- If your name is not listed on the wrestler list then your registration is not complete and you will not be added to the tournament. Please double check this to ensure you have completed the registration (this can be viewed by going to www.fallbrawlwrestling.com then click the “click here to register” link. On the next page below the flashing red sign that says “register now” there is a blue link that says “Wrestler List”).

Hate to do it as we are already preregistered but Nate won't be there this weekend. Has a slight MCL tear the doctor said needs a couple of weeks in the brace and time to heal. Not worth it to run the risk of missing out on the season. This is a great tournament, and if anyway to give the registration to someone who wanted to go but couldn't go would be great, otherwise everyone have a great tournament.

Pretty dissapointing on our end but gotta go with the Doc on this one.

Any opinions on the toughest weight class? IMO 130 looks pretty tough with Thorn being the favorite.

I would say 135, then 130. 145 got tougher when Rubalcaba entered.

130:
Thorn
Hood
Weller
Hagerty
Houlden

135:
Trujillo
Nitcher
Skaggs
Bintliff
James

Predicted bracket winners at selected weights:

119: Alan Waters - MO
125: Keith Surber - IL
140: Mac Bailey - MO
152: Greg Amos - MO
