I believe Clarke is being under-estimated. I think he will place higher than 5th. As a freshman, he did quite well.

I would say this is the toughest bracket in 14U. Prior to subs a number of kids moved out of this weight, at least 5 I can think of. You have 2 prior state champs - Sells and Thibault - wrestling in the first round - WOW. Anything can happen. If McKinney doesn't beat Clarke/Rodriguez winner (assuming he wins the first match) he will have a tough time with the loser of Lopez-Murdock/Sells-Thibault. Will be one of the most interesting brackets to watch. Will be fun to see how the 8th graders do with the freshmen.

My money says Clarke will definately place higher than Sells...this bracket has some amazing talent stacked up in it!! I don't believe it's the toughest tho in the 14U...look at 105, you have Seybold, Gehring, Dakin, Ochs, Villers, Krause, and Kretzer, all very tough....110, you have Haralson, Kolterman, Maki, Lange, Younger, Stalford...115, Eck, Rodriguez, Webber, Fiscus, Prescott, J. Johnson, Miller....WOW!! I believe all these brackets will be ones to watch... smile
